Bullying in the workplace is detrimental, not for the victim only but for the company as well. It is not limited to negatively affecting the targeted employee and their performance, motivation and personality. It is beyond that…
Bullying creates a toxic work environment for the bullied and all the people around them. If no proper action is taken by the management to stop it, the negativity will extend to others. Even worse, if things go out of hand, it could damage the company’s reputation and affect the services.
Therefore if you are a victim of bullying, or have someone in your organization suffering from this, you can escalate the matter to their hierarchical superior, putting the bully in a very difficult situation vis-à-vis the company. If no action is taken against the bully, you should consider looking out for another company which places the wellbeing of its human assets before anything else.
1- Logical-mathematical intelligence: is the ability to reason, solve problems, and learn using numbers. They are methodical and think in linear order.
2- Linguistic intelligence: is the ability to understand both spoken and written language, as well as the ability to speak and write easily.
3- Visual-Spatial Intelligence: is the ability to perceive, analyze and understand visual information. Interpreting pictures, graphs and charts is part of this type of intelligence.
4- Musical Intelligence: is the skill of composition and appreciation of musical patterns.
5- Bodily-kinesthetic Intelligence: is the ability to process information physically, through hand and body movement.
6- Intrapersonal Intelligence: is the ability to look inward. They can figure out their own feelings, motivations and goals, and analyze themselves.
7- Interpersonal Intelligence: is the ability to understand, interact and relate to other people around. They are able to pick on the mood, characteristics, emotions, and intentions of those around them.
8- Naturalistic intelligence: is the ability to identify and manipulate elements of the environment, objects and plants. They can be in touch with nature.
We all agree that Lebanon has reached its current stage, mainly due to its corrupt political class. However, if we take a closer look as to how politicians dared to go this far, “Groupthink” is what comes to our minds. They must have felt untouchable, and above the law. Don’t you think they have undermined every person stepping their way? Weren’t they all convinced they could get away with everything they’ve done? Didn’t they all choose to hire advisors who would never confront them with the reality or give them negative feedback?

Shell and Shelf companies are both accepted legally, as long as they are used for legitimate purposes. However they pose higher risks from a compliance standpoint: Shell Companies could be used to conceal the identity of ultimate beneficial owners. Therefore, it can inter alia, be used as part of an AML and/or tax evasion scheme. Shelf companies can make their purchaser appear to have admirable business attributes such as stability, legitimacy and a great credit score. Buying a shelf company can allow fraudulent business to mislead customers.
